NAMPELKA CHAMAS

Nampelka is an ecosystem of Chamas.

We took the concept of Chama from the Kiswahili culture. The world “Chama” means “group” or “body” and it consists of an informal cooperative society used to pool and invest savings in East Africa. As the original ones, Nampelka’s Chamas are informal groups where our women cooperate to give birth to a business project. Each Chama is composed of a Kenyan entrepreneur with a business and a European businesswoman with her expertise. These two women cooperate to develop a business idea and plan.

In Nampelka, Chamas are digital to enable businesswomen from two different continents to work together and share their experiences. Our digital Chamas permit our women to share business advices, personal experiences and their personalities.
It is not just a matter of business: Nampelka promotes personal development and growth through the encounter of two women and two cultures.

NAMPELKA ECOSYSTEM
Chama means community, support and collaboration. Chama means empowering.
We want all women to grow personally and professionally thanks to the relations they can build in our ecosystem. Each Chama is the first step to create a link between two words: two countries, two cultures, two markets, two women.
Nampelka promotes global business support, celebrating similarities in social habits and cultural norms: let's meet our women!
We create an international network of businesswomen to support each other.
